Drew is Haunted

I put this spoof video together a couple years ago, but due to two storms that shut down Drew over Halloween, we weren’t able to release it. Here it is.

Condoleezza Rice Talks North Korea

I had the opportunity to interview Condoleezza Rice when she was on campus a few months ago. We talked at length about the nuclear threat from North Korea, and why the United States doesn’t use military action against the Kim Jong Un regime. (Note: I was not allowed to shoot any of her speech or get any actual B-Roll, so I yanked file footage.)

Relay For Life Hits Home for Student

I shot, wrote and edited this story a few months ago but never posted it. I’m always looking for personal stories to really bring the story home, and this one is a classic example. Drew hosted Relay For Life, and, for one senior, he was fighting for his mom.

#LetsDREWthis

The freshmen are slated to move into campus on Friday. In anticipation, I produced this movie trailer to get people excited. I think it does the trick. What do you think?

Brokaw’s Brilliance

A few days ago, I got scolded by a person in my brain trust for not updating my webpage enough. So here is me getting back in the swing of things.

My last post was an interview with Tom Brokaw in which we discussed the impending Presidential election. The election was 10 days away, and it appeared as though Mitt Romney had a pretty decent shot of taking The White House. Romney was keeping it really tight in the polls, and insiders were saying the Democrats were relatively nervous. Brokaw was not buying it.

There’s no question that Brokaw had been around the block a few times, because he said, “a lot can happen in a week.” He nailed it. Hurricane Sandy came. President Obama and Governor Christie did serious bonding in the aftermath, which left Romney a bit scorned. As Brokaw forewarned, a lot happened in that week, and Obama went on to win relatively easily.
